Homemade Ginger Wellness Shots

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh ginger root, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 oranges, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric or 1-inch fresh turmeric root
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

1. Blend the Ingredients

Add the ginger, lemon juice, orange juice, turmeric, black pepper, and water to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.

2. Strain for a Smooth Shot

Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl or measuring cup. Press well to extract as much liquid as possible.

3. Sweeten to Taste

Stir in the honey if using and mix until dissolved.

4. Chill and Store

Transfer to a sealed glass bottle or jar and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Shake before serving.

5. Enjoy

Pour 1–2 ounces into a small glass and enjoy cold.
