Classic Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded

  • 1 cup purple cabbage, finely shredded (optional)

  • 1 cup carrots, shredded

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the veggies

Shred the green cabbage, purple cabbage, and carrots and place them in a large mixing bowl.

2. Make the dressing3. Combine4. Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld and the cabbage soften slightly.

5. Serve
